National Lipstick Day

NATIONAL LIPSTICK DAY

National Lipstick Day today July 29th encourages you to wear your best color.  For some women, lipstick is the only makeup requirement. Whether sheer and light or dark or bright, July 29th calls for all kinds of lipstick.

Of course, versatility is lipstick’s brand. It changes with a mood or with the scenery. Whether lipstick defines your attitude or channels your inner spirit, wear it today July 29th. No matter your style, lipstick adds a subtle accent or a bold statement. Let your lips speak. However, punctuate it with your lipstick.

While incredibly popular today, lipstick actually goes way back. It’s been a symbol of culture, status, and personal style for ages. As we all know, different colors evoke different feelings, and nothing completes an outfit like a bold, beautiful lip.

In prior years, National Lipstick Day celebrations occurred on an annual basis with no declaration. As of 2016, beauty blogger, entrepreneur and International Businesswoman, Huda Kattan was named the modern-day founder of National Lipstick Day by a Proclamation from National Day Calendar’s Registrar.

What does your favorite lipstick shade say about you?

Red: You’re confident, command attention and love being in a position of power. It’s fearless, charismatic and clever, a combination of cosmetics and confidence,  When you walk into a room, all eyes turn your way.

Light Pink: You’re sweet as can be, but that doesn’t stop you from wanting to have a little fun. People are drawn to your infectious personality. Hot Pink: You’re the life of the party — it doesn’t matter whether you’re dancing up a storm, manning the music selection, or chatting up guests. Light and medium pink shades of lipstick are understated but classically feminine.

Purple: You’re the wild card of the friend group and constantly seek adventure. You know spontaneity is the spice of life. Purple lipstick shades symbolize power, luxury, and magic but also a little mystery. These colors are feminine and romantic, yet strong and confident.

Nude: You’re practical and mean business. Others trust you to get the job done right — the first time. Some women believe it’s meant to be a shade similar to our skin tone, while others define it simply as a neutral.

This National Lipstick Day, I am sharing my personal lipstick in a different brand. My favorite brand in Faceshop, Marykay matte lipstick, Mac and Maybelline. Sometimes I make my ombre lip version I just add dark lipstick and light color in the middle, I also do light color and add dark then pup my lips. I will share more tips and tricks on my next blog.
